Mohini Chaudhary is a young development professional working with FMSF as Manager - Grant Management. She has over 8 years of work experience in Project Management and Grant Monitoring. She is overall responsible for Monitoring & Coordination of the Grant Management team and the monitoring of the projects in India and Nepal at FMSF. She has dealt with varied nature of work which includes Grant Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Prefunding Appraisals, Organizational Profile Analysis, Budget analysis, etc. She holds the Post-Graduation Diploma Degree in Rural Banking and Finance from Institute of Rural Management and Bachelor’s degree from Maharani’s College, Jaipur.

Ms. Bhanushree Goyal is presently working as a Grant Management Officer at FMSF since 2020. Prior to working with FMSF, she has worked with Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs and Deloitte Tax Services. She is a Compliance and Finance Professional with over 6 years of experience in the areas related to tax consultancy, legal and secretarial compliance, financial management, board meetings, grant management, capacity building of NGOs, etc. She has done her Master’s in Business Administration in Finance and has completed her Company Secretary course.

Asra Zaidi

Ms. Asra Zaidi is a Grant Management Officer at FMSF. She has over seven years of rich experience in all phases of Accounts & Financials i.e. developing systems & procedures, contributing towards improved financial performance, heightened productivity and enhancing internal controls. She has a Master degree in Business Administration with specialization in Finance & Accounting. She is handling statutory compliances related to legal and taxation of corporate as well as non-profit sectors. She is well versed with project management and grant monitoring. She has conducted various Pre-funding assessments and is providing support to NGO partners within and outside India.

Mr. Sandeep Sharma

Mr. Sandeep Sharma is the Executive Director of the Financial Management Service Foundation (FMSF) and brings over two decades of sustained experience in organizational development, institutional strengthening, and capacity building within the development sector. His work has focused on supporting civil society organizations to build robust governance systems, strengthen financial and legal compliance frameworks, and enhance overall organizational effectiveness. He has led and facilitated numerous organizational development processes for national and international development organizations, working closely with leadership teams, boards, and senior management. A seasoned trainer and practitioner, Mr. Sharma has facilitated over 500 workshops globally on non-profit governance, financial management, and legal and regulatory compliance, with a strong emphasis on practical application and contextual relevance. Mr. Sharma is a prolific author and has written several widely used books and reference materials on best practices in NPO governance, financial management, social audit, and legal compliance, including authoritative publications on the FCRA framework. His writing and training draw from extensive field experience and reflect a deep understanding of the operational realities faced by small, mid-sized, and large civil society organizations. He is also the co-founder of INDIAdonates, an initiative focused on enabling access to resources and reducing barriers to resource mobilization for social development organizations.

Dr. Sanjay Patra

Dr. Sanjay Patra is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a doctoral degree. He brings over three decades of deep engagement with the development sector, with experience spanning grassroots realities to strategic organizational and institutional development across India and South Asia. He is currently the Managing Director of CPA Services Private Limited. Over the years, Dr. Patra has served as a resource person in numerous national and international workshops, with specialized expertise in financial management, governance, and legal and regulatory frameworks for the voluntary sector. He has facilitated over 1,000 workshops and has also served as a board member and committee member of several national and international civil society organizations, contributing to institutional governance and oversight. Dr. Patra has been involved in major research initiatives and has authored books on financial audit, non-profit governance, and social audit, along with regular contributions to sector journals and newsletters. He is part of the core group of the Voluntary Associations Network of India (VANI), which provides an important interface between civil society and the government.

Mr. Gagan Sethi brings over three decades of distinguished experience in organizational development, capacity building, and advocacy across diverse cultural contexts in Asia. As a recognized leader in policy formulation and minority rights advocacy, he offers invaluable insights into leadership that transcends organizational boundaries and embraces comprehensive sectoral understanding. Over the years, Mr. Sethi has been closely associated with efforts to strengthen civil society institutions and leadership processes, combining practical field-based experience with policy-level understanding. This experience spans multiple regions, thematic areas, and institutional contexts, enabling a view of the sector not in fragments, but as an interconnected and evolving ecosystem. International consultancy work with bilateral development agencies, funding organizations, and development networks, combined with roles as board member, trustee, founder, and mentor across 15+ advocacy campaigns and development organizations, positions him uniquely to guide emerging leaders in a holistic, systems-thinking approach to leadership. The authorship of books on legal aid, gender, non-profit governance, and communal violence further demonstrates an ability to synthesize learnings across sectors and translate them into actionable knowledge for leaders navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

As Managing Partner of GrowthSqapes, he combines deep corporate experience with extensive expertise in strategy formulation and execution. Throughout a remarkable career, Mr. Bhattacharjee has facilitated sessions for over 30,000 professionals across India, USA, UK, Europe, etc. accumulating more than 38,000 facilitation hours. This global exposure spans Strategic Thinking, Strategy Execution, Design Thinking, Leadership Development, and Scenario Analysis facilitation for C-Suite leaders. As a visiting faculty at premier business schools and a professional member of leading behavioural science institutions, he bridges academic rigor with business pragmatism. Certifications in Brain Mapping from HBDI Australia, ICF-certified coaching from the Neuro Leadership Institute USA, and ongoing doctoral research at a leading business school further strengthen this foundation. The combination of extensive corporate leadership, global facilitation experience, and deep specialization in strategy creation uniquely positions him to mentor leaders in cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset that drives innovation and strategic value creation.

Ms. Amita Puri is a seasoned leader in the Indian development sector with extensive experience across child rights, gender, and livelihoods. Her career has been marked by consistent engagement with diverse stakeholder groups from individual and corporate donors to institutional funders, government bodies, artisan communities, and non-profit networks across India and internationally. As CEO of a philanthropy organization, Ms. Puri led initiatives that brought together corporates, media, non-profits, and local government, navigating divergent interests to create collaborative impact. Throughout consulting assignments spanning strategy development, fundraising capacity building, and program evaluation, she has worked with organizations on institutional partnerships, private sector engagement, and scaling initiatives. Her involvement in facilitating community consultations for government policy processes and conducting organizational assessments reflects depth in working across different organizational contexts and priorities. The journey from corporate banking to leading development organizations and now as an independent consultant provides unique insights into institutional dynamics across sectors. This experience, combined with hands-on work in advocacy, resource mobilization, and organizational development, positions her to guide emerging leaders in building effective relationships and partnerships essential for organizational success.

Mr. Anup Tiwari brings over two decades of experience in the development sector, with deep expertise in fundraising, strategic communications, and private sector partnerships. His work has involved close collaboration with corporates, CSR platforms, high-net-worth individuals, institutional donors, and multilateral and bilateral agencies, across thematic areas including healthcare, livelihoods, education, early childhood development, and disaster response. He has held senior leadership roles at both regional and global levels, where he has led fund development and communication strategies across multiple countries in Asia, strengthening resource mobilization systems and long-term partnerships. His experience includes designing and managing large-scale fundraising portfolios, building cross-sector alliances, and aligning communication strategies with programmatic and organizational priorities. Mr. Tiwari has also played key roles in establishing and strengthening private sector partnerships in different country contexts, contributing to sustainable financing for development initiatives. Alongside his fundraising work, he has provided leadership and strategic guidance within the social sector, with a strong emphasis on governance, accountability, and institutional sustainability. He began his professional journey in the publishing and sales sector, which contributed to his strong grounding in communication, relationship management, and audience engagement. He holds an MBA and a Diploma in Public Relations, bringing together strategic acumen, communication expertise, and long-standing sector experience.

Mr. Santosh Pathak is a seasoned social development strategist with over 28 years of experience in designing, leading, and scaling large social, environmental, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). His work spans strategy formulation, program design, impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, and policy advocacy, with a consistent focus on sustainable and community-led outcomes. He has a strong track record of building multi-stakeholder partnerships and driving complex, large-scale programs across themes such as education and skilling, women’s empowerment, natural resource management, disaster risk reduction, climate resilience, and environmental sustainability. His expertise lies in translating social development goals into implementable, measurable, and scalable interventions. He has also played a key role in advancing climate adaptation and ecosystem restoration, promoting innovative water and snow harvesting techniques in fragile geographies, leading afforestation and biodiversity conservation efforts, and supporting groundwater assessment and sustainability planning. Mr. Pathak is recognized for his strategic insight and contribution to the sector, including receiving a national-level social awareness award and serving as a certified sustainability assessor. His work reflects a deep commitment to inclusive development, evidence-based planning, and strengthening the impact of CSR and social investments.

Mr. Shwetank Mishra

Mr. Shwetank Mishra is an economist by training and a practitioner of social systems by choice. Over the past 15+ years, he has worked across diverse contexts within the development sector, spanning grassroots engagement, public sector reform, grant management, organizational development, and leadership capacity building. His work reflects a strong commitment to understanding how individuals, institutions, and systems interact and how leadership can enable meaningful change within these systems. He brings deep experience as a leadership trainer, behavioural process facilitator, and mentor, having worked closely with emerging leaders, fellows, and senior practitioners through long-term mentoring and learning processes. His mentoring practice focuses on helping leaders develop clarity of purpose, navigate complexity, build reflective leadership practices, and translate values into action within their organizations and communities. Over the years, Mr. Mishra has supported the design and strengthening of organizations and initiatives from conceptualisation to system-building, covering areas such as vision setting, program management, fundraising, and institutional sustainability. He has particular expertise in behavioural training, participatory processes, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning, enabling leaders to ground their decisions in evidence and lived realities. As a mentor, he is known for his ability to create safe, reflective spaces for leaders to examine their assumptions, leadership styles, and challenges, while remaining firmly anchored in real-world practice. His work integrates analytical thinking with human processes, making his mentoring especially relevant for leaders navigating growth, transition, and complexity in the social sector.

Her work has involved shaping regional priorities, supporting country-level leadership teams, and ensuring strong alignment between vision, people, resources, and accountability. She has led complex portfolios involving resource mobilization, compliance, governance, and external representation, while working closely with diverse stakeholders across government, donors, international agencies, and the private sector. Alongside this, she has managed and supported large, diverse teams, with a leadership style that balances clarity, care, and high standards of accountability. She is deeply committed to youth-led development, inclusion, and equity, with a particular focus on disability inclusion and expanding opportunities for young girls. Her professional journey reflects a conscious shift from communications into program leadership, giving her a unique ability to connect narrative, strategy, and implementation in meaningful ways. As a mentor, Nalini supports leaders to think systemically, lead with values, and navigate complexity with confidence and integrity.
